When you run an inspection

We fetch the public product page and robots.txt you point us at, the same way a search engine would, and score it. We keep the result for about an hour so shared report links open quickly.

We set two small cookies with no personal information: a random visitor number and where you first came from (for example a search engine or one of our guides). They let us count how many people move from one step to the next. Vercel Web Analytics also counts page views without cookies.

When you ask for your report by email

We store your email address, the store you inspected, its score and which checks it failed, plus the wording you agreed to and when. We use them to send the report and the 4 follow-up emails you agreed to, then stop.

Every email has an unsubscribe link that works straight away. We never add you to any other list, and we never sell or share your details.

When you buy

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store card details. Stripe tells us your name, email, the store you named and what you paid, so we can deliver what you bought.

If you book the setup, the intake form's answers (store, contact details, Shopify collaborator code, policies and product choices) are stored so we can do the work, and emailed to the founder.

Who handles it

Vercel hosts the site. Upstash stores the data above. Resend sends our emails. Stripe takes payments. Cal.com handles bookings, if you book a call. Each only gets what it needs to do that job.

How long we keep it

Email leads are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, and no longer than 24 months. Order and intake records are kept as long as we need them for accounting. Visit counts are kept as daily totals for about 13 months.
